Environmental Test Specialist

As a key member of our Mechanical and Climatic Test Department, you will be responsible for delivering complex test campaigns on UK defence programmes, utilizing cutting-edge equipment and techniques.
Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Environmental Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical structures and analysis, with excellent problem-solving skills and IT competence.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and execute test campaigns on UK defence programmes
- Utilize cutting-edge equipment and techniques to deliver complex tests
- Collaborate with the team to identify and deliver capability and technical improvements
- Develop and maintain technical expertise in mechanical structures and analysis
- HNC/HND/Degree qualified in a relevant subject or demonstrable equivalent experience
- Good problem-solving skills coupled with a sound fundamental knowledge of mechanical structures and analysis
- IT competence including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience using measurement equipment and devices, including accelerometers, thermocouples, and strain gauges
- Company bonus: Up to £2,500 (based on company performance)
