Join Cedar as a Head of Category for Health

Cedar is supporting a Public Sector organisation in their search for a skilled Head of Category to lead their Health category team. This is a permanent role with a salary range up to £80,000 on offer, plus additional benefits and perks.

About the Role

The successful candidate will report to the Head of Procurement and become an active member of the organisation's Leadership Team. As a Category Expert, they will be responsible for leading, managing, and developing the Health category team to ensure high standards of team performance and collaboration are achieved at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight of delivery to the category
  • Act as a Category Expert and support members of your team and wider key stakeholders
  • Lead a high-performing team and oversee the implementation of transformational activities to drive improvements and build stronger relationships
  • Develop positive professional relationships and work collaboratively across the business to implement solutions that help to continually improve service offerings and deliver ongoing value
Requirements
  • MCIPS qualification or alternative comparable qualification
  • Strong experience working in a similar role
