The Electrical Safety Authority is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Specialist to join our team. As a Field Evaluation Electrical Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting inspections of unapproved electrical equipment, enforcing regulations, and providing relief inspection services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections of unapproved electrical equipment and enforce regulations
  • Provide relief inspection services as required
  • Prepare reports using Microsoft Office tools
  • Hold a current Certificate of Qualifications as a Journey person Electrician [309A license] for a minimum of 7 years
  • Experience in the interpretation and application of the CSA Electrical Standards and the Electrical Safety Code of Ontario
  • Familiarity with the design, manufacture, and testing of all types of electrical equipment

Requirements:

  • Class "G" Driver's License
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
