Job Title: Deputy Head of Pharmacy

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Head of Pharmacy to join our team at Healthcare Central London. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and management to our pharmacy services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and the effective management of medicines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational oversight and management of pharmacy services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organisational policies.
  • Lead the development and implementation of pharmacy strategies, including the integration of clinical pharmacists into primary care networks.
  • Manage and coordinate the delivery of pharmacy services, including the implementation of the Medicines Management Enhanced Scheme (MMES).
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, patients, and external partners.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of organisational policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with national standards and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in pharmacy or a related field.
  • Registered as a pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Clinical pharmacy qualification (Diploma or MSc).
  • Independent prescriber status.
  • At least 10 years of post-registration pharmacy experience, with a proven track record in leadership and management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
