We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estates & Facilities Support Officer to join our team on a full-time temporary basis. Our client is a reputable and well-established organization in the public sector, and this is a temporary contract position until the end of March 2025.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage planned and responsive maintenance matters, ensuring timely completion and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Attend sites to oversee ongoing site works, check on progress, report property defects, and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory matters and coordinate the development of authority estate records.
- Cover both rolling condition surveys and estate strategy decisions, providing expert advice and guidance.
- Conduct financial assessments and participate in condition surveys and life cycle management reports.
- Level 4 Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment.
- Full clean driving license.
- DBS clearance.
- Several years of Construction/Civils experience in maintenance and service contracts.
- Strong working knowledge of modern construction techniques, groundworks, roofing, and other relevant areas.
- Experience in monitoring and controlling budgets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Computer literate with experience using CAD software.
Our client offers a competitive salary of £18.99 - £19.81 per hour, working full-time hours from Monday to Friday. This is a temporary contract position until the end of March 2025.
