Role Summary

CareTech Group is a leading provider of specialist education, care, and therapies for children and young people with complex needs. We are seeking a Senior Speech and Language Therapist to join our team as a Consultant Speech and Language Therapist.

About the Role

As a Consultant Speech and Language Therapist, you will work with individuals to maximise their potential and enable them to enjoy the best possible quality of life. You will assess communication needs, implement evidence-based therapy, and provide functional targets and recommendations to aid day-to-day communicative success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualised communication plans
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective care planning
  • Provide regular progress updates to families and caregivers
  • Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Speech and Language Therapist with a degree or postgraduate diploma in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent) and registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC). A minimum of 3 years' experience working with individuals with complex needs is required. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £52,000 - £62,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including full support from a multidisciplinary team, clinical supervision, developmental opportunities, research opportunities & support, internal/external training on new initiatives, and 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (with increments for the length of service included).
