Job Overview

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Occupational Therapist to fill a part-time locum position in the community around Milton Keynes. This role involves working as part of the admission avoidance team, where you will be responsible for assessing patients, identifying risks, planning interventions, and providing support to patients and their families.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Patient assessment and risk identification in the community setting
  • Planning and implementing effective interventions to meet patient needs
  • Providing emotional support and empowering patients and their families
  • Monitoring and evaluating patient progress

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
  • Recent UK experience working as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in the NHS
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • A valid driving license, as regular travel between locations is required
