We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fund Administrator to join our team at CSC. As a Fund Administrator, you will be responsible for managing client portfolios, processing transactions, and providing administrative support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Manage client portfolios, including processing transactions and providing advice on internal processes
- Complete VAT reviews and filings, as well as CIS reviews and filings
- Communicate with HMRC on an ad-hoc basis, including VAT applications
- Proactively take on responsibilities and administration tasks as required by clients and/or manager
- Ensure all tasks and associated actions are followed through to completion with the aid of a tracker discussed regularly
- Become an expert in technical matters relating to funds, including regulatory requirements applicable to clients
- Ensure client records are clearly updated with all correspondence/information
- Communicate openly and honestly with clients on a regular basis
- Provide support in the opening of bank accounts and communications related to specialist blocked accounts
- Be responsible and approachable when given tasks by a senior team member
- Provide new, innovative ideas on how to improve the efficiencies of daily tasks
- Take care of and establish good relationships with all suppliers, team members, and clients
- Drive personal development using all resources available at CSC to achieve success
- Accurately record all time spent dealing with client matters to ensure clients are correctly invoiced
- Assist with quarterly invoicing
- Ad-hoc project-related tasks and associated testing
- Monitor daily completion of team mailbox and post delivery, assisting first-hand in annual leave of junior members
- Experience in VAT or dealing with HMRC is an advantage
- Ability to deal with tasks independently and use own initiative
- Commitment and drive to achieving excellence for themselves and their clients
- Proactive and forward-thinking approach
- Experience in a similar role, potentially including Real Estate Funds administration exposure
