Financial Clerk

RG Consultancy is seeking a skilled Financial Clerk to join their finance team on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing high-volume purchase invoices, matching and coding invoices to a high standard, and performing supplier statement reconciliations.
The ideal candidate will have SAGE accounting knowledge and an understanding of payroll. They will also be able to assist with VAT and CIS returns, process wages onto SAGE Payroll, and perform other ad-hoc duties as required.
The role offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including 35 hours per week, flexible start and finish times, 25 days plus bank holidays, and a pension scheme.
The successful candidate will be able to work closely with the finance manager to ensure the smooth operation of the finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing high-volume purchase invoices
- Matching and coding invoices to a high standard
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Weekly BACS payment runs
- Bank reconciliations
- Assisting with VAT and CIS returns
- Processing wages onto SAGE Payroll
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
