About the Role

Sphere Digital Recruitment | Best Small Company 2022 is seeking a highly motivated and commercially-minded individual to lead our social media team and drive its growth as the Head of Social.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the social media team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor, understanding client needs and identifying opportunities for growth and upsell.
  • Work closely with the Head of Strategy to develop and implement social media strategies and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
  • Lead hiring and resource allocation, ensuring the team has the necessary skills and expertise to deliver exceptional results.
  • Develop and present pitches for new business, managing commercial aspects and collaborating with the Director for client and business integration.

About You

  • Approximately 7-10 years' experience in social media, specifically within an agency.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills, with a hands-on approach to challenges.
  • Confident leadership and presentation skills, with the ability to think creatively and stay current on industry trends.
  • Contribute to a growth-oriented, culture-driven agency, offering leadership, collaboration, and active listening.
