Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the construction of civils assets, including bridge replacements, refurbishment of steel structures, and tunnel repairs.
  • Oversee designs from the development phase through to implementation, ensuring compliance with specifications and maintaining the highest quality standards.
  • Act as the Contractors Responsible Engineer and oversee all related duties.
  • Ensure adherence to the assurance process and monitor design progress.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience as a Civils Construction Engineer in the rail sector.
  • Profound understanding of rail and civil engineering principles and construction methods.
  • Familiarity with Network Rail's GRIP process is essential.
