Quick Staff UK is seeking a dedicated and experienced Working Foreman from within the Construction & Civils industry to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising daily operations on-site, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires strong leadership skills, a hands-on approach, and the ability to manage a diverse team while maintaining high standards of quality and productivity. The ideal candidate will have a Full UK Driving Licence and a CSCS & SSSTS card. Extensive travel throughout the UK will be required, as we have sites throughout the country.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee daily operations and ensure work is carried out according to project specifications and timelines.

* Manage and supervise a team of workers, providing guidance and support as needed.

* Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and communication.

* Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

* Train new employees on procedures, safety protocols, and best practices.

* Address any issues or conflicts that arise within the team promptly and effectively.

* Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and any incidents that occur on-site.

Key Requirements:

* Be an experienced groundworks Working Foreman.

* Must have a full UK Driving Licence.

* Ability to plan and manage site personnel.

* Ensure labour, plant, and materials are successfully delivered to projects on time.

* Meeting clients and subcontractors onsite to launch projects.

* Submit daily reports as required by Management

* HSE regulations – COSH/RAMS/PUWER/LOLER inspection sheets, ensure these are checked/completed daily.

* Be happy to get stuck in and get your hands dirty

Benefits:

* Tools and company vehicle provided (business use only)

* Accommodation paid (own room - no sharing)

* Night out allowance £25 per night

On an average week, you will be expected to stay away from Monday to Thursday, however, the occasional weekend work may become available.

Salary: £20.00per hour (paid direct by our client) or £25.00p/hr on a self-employed basis
