Nursing Support Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursing Support Assistant to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with daily living activities, ensuring that each resident receives the attention and compassion they deserve. You will also be responsible for supporting residents with their food and drink, following care plans, and providing one-to-one time when needed.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting a sense of well-being and comfort
- Support residents with their food and drink, ensuring that their dietary needs are met
- Follow care plans and guidelines to ensure the highest standard of care

Requirements

- Experience of caring for older people, preferably in a residential setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents and colleagues
- Compassionate and empathetic approach, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care and support
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings, as required
