We offer a competitive £60,000 - £80,000 per annum salary dependent on experience, reflecting the importance of this role in maintaining clinical governance standards.

 

Job Description

The successful applicant will assist the Governance Manager in various areas, including clinical quality, patient safety, risk management, and compliance activities, ensuring full compliance with all relevant clinical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the Hospital Integrated Quality Governance compliance activity within the hospital.
  • Maintain compliance with Clinical Governance Policy 103 - PSIRF.
  • Lead on the management, coordination, and monitoring of patient safety incidents falling within PSIRF.
  • Assist in developing methods and processes to aid clinical risk management.
  • Support the Patient Experience Lead with clinical complaints.
  • Contribute to promoting a culture that actively improves clinical safety and quality.
  • Perform any other duties appropriate to the post as required by the Governance Manager.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

We seek a registered Healthcare Professional with previous experience in managing clinical governance, expertise in PSIRF, excellent organizational and communication skills, and competence across a range of nursing, management, and leadership skills.
