About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Controls Professional to join our team in the Data Centre sector. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will play a crucial role in establishing processes, templates, and tools to ensure successful project delivery.

Job Responsibilities
  • Evaluate time, cost, and quality targets for projects in the data centre sector, applying governance controls as necessary.
  • Collaborate with remote teams of cost managers to achieve market-tested cost baselines and deliver value to clients.
  • Guide general contractors to ensure timely progress within agreed cash flow parameters.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing delivery and commercial issues while preparing reports on time, cost, and quality targets.
  • Create cost reports summarizing financials at an executive level, highlighting key metrics and trends.
  • Develop and implement change management principles, leading agreed processes and workflows to facilitate adding, tracking, monitoring, and approving changes.
  • Coordinate planning sessions and workshops with clients and vendors to compile master project/program schedules, agreeing baselines and critical paths.
  • Participate in project team risk evaluations, incorporating defined risks into Monte Carlo simulations to quantify impacts on project cost and schedule.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in project controls coordination across all phases of the project lifecycle, including programs, risk, and reporting, with specialist data centre sector experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to determine corrective actions or recommendations based on facts and figures, critically evaluating information and data from various sources.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office and Primavera P6.
  • Strong time management skills, quick thinking, and ability to meet project deadlines as necessary.

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development within our global organization.
