To be successful for the role, you'll need to have working knowledge of the following regulatory documentation and requirements:BSEN 378 (2016)Pressure Equipment DirectivePressure Safety Systems RegulationsDangerous Substances & Explosive Atmosphere Regulations (DSEAR)In this role, you will support the Operations team within the compliant, technical design of process cooling systems, inclusive of initial system dimensioning, component selection, pipe work sizing and configuration, document management and production of fully compliant P&ID with supporting Bill of Materials.Part of the role is developing customer and supplier relationships whilst ensuring your technical knowledge and understanding of current and emerging technologies and practices is up to date.What we look forPrevious experience within a similar roleEngineering degree or other higher education in related subjectExcellent communication skills verbal and writtenWorking knowledge of Pressure Systems Safety Regulations (PSSR) and BS EN378Knowledge of CDM & Health & Safety at Work Act along with impact to design of IREF/process cooling systemsCompetent with the use of 2D and 3D drawing software for the production of final design and installation documentationStrong knowledge of system types and refrigerants – particularly systems operating on natural refrigerantsCommercially awareMember of the Institute of Refrigeration or working towardsWillingness to visit customer sites as and when requiredBecome a member of the Johnson Controls family and thrive in an empowering company culture where your voice and ideas will be heard – your next great opportunity is just a few clicks away#LI-DC1#LI-Hybrid
