Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our Residential Care Team at Swallowcourt. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, promoting independence and dignity.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering residents' dietary requirements and preferences.
- Monitor and record residents' conditions, reporting any changes to the senior care assistant or person in charge.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of care plans.
- Administer medication, as required, and maintain accurate records.
- Support residents in achieving their personal goals and accompany them to medical appointments or excursions.
- Contribute to a safe and healthy environment, adhering to Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Previous experience in a care role, preferably in a residential setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team, promoting a positive and supportive environment.
