Senior Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics Scientist to join our team at Lifelancer. As a key member of our Non-Clinical PKPD group, you will play a critical role in driving strategy and supporting projects by exploring PK/PD relationships in preclinical models.
About the RoleYou will be responsible for developing and driving the nonclinical PKPD strategy for projects, ensuring effective communication and implementation. Your expertise will be essential in translating in vitro data and in vivo nonclinical studies to predict efficacy and safety in patients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and drive nonclinical PKPD strategy for projects
- Ensure translation from in vitro data and in vivo nonclinical studies to prediction of efficacy and safety in patients
- Initiate and engage in multifunctional collaborations to facilitate the advancement of drug candidates
- Build PKPD models to allow hypothesis testing and inform decision-making
- Provide scientific and technical input, expertise, and leadership to Nonclinical PKPD group project teams and the department
- Work in collaborations with external partners, academic institutions, CROs, and consultants as required
- Maintain awareness of new/emerging techniques and tools relevant to the field
- Represent the interests of Lifelancer internally and externally in matters relevant to mechanistic PKPD
- Contribute to Due Diligence of external project, product, and technology opportunities
- Provide required support and input into regulatory study protocols, reports, and summaries, and regulatory submission documents
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics Scientist with a PhD in a relevant discipline (pharmacology, bioengineering, pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics, etc.). You should have a good understanding of pharmacology and the pharmacology processes related to disease and drug mechanisms.
- PhD in relevant discipline (pharmacology, bioengineering, pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics, etc.)
- Good understanding of pharmacology and the pharmacology processes related to disease and drug mechanisms
- Expertise and proven application of PKPD methods and concepts in support of drug discovery and development
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing effective nonclinical PKPD strategies from early discovery through to clinic
- Innovative, self-motivated, team-oriented scientist with good written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership skills in a matrix environment
- Experience working within a matrix environment with a wide range of internal stakeholders
- Record of publications and other external scientific contributions relevant to PKPD
- Experience in using modeling and simulation packages such as Phoenix, Berkeley, Madonna, MonolixR
