Nelson Permanent Placements Ltd is proud to offer an exciting career opportunity for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our esteemed client, a housing association based in Birmingham City Centre. This role involves working on residential adaptation projects funded by the Disability Facilities Grant (DFG), which offers an excellent chance to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable individuals.

About the Housing Association
Our client is a growing housing association committed to providing support for people with disabilities. They require a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to lead their residential adaptation projects, ensuring compliance with grant regulations and health & safety standards. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in quantity surveying roles, preferably in residential adaptations, housing projects, or DFG-funded schemes.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement cost-effective solutions for adaptation projects while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Architects, and Contractors to design and deliver feasible adaptation plans.
- Ensure accurate financial management, monitoring project expenses, and identifying areas for cost reduction.

Benefits and Salary
This role comes with a competitive salary of £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a range of benefits including pension scheme, life insurance, and generous annual leave.
