About the Role

Fugro is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ROV Pilot Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in the smooth operation and maintenance of our Remotely Operated Vehicle System.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Supervisor in the planning and execution of ROV operations, ensuring safe and efficient deployment and recovery of the system.
  • Coordinate maintenance schedules for ROV, TMS, LARS, and associated equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
  • Assess weather conditions and operational parameters to ensure safe launch and recovery of the ROV.
  • Ensure all work is carried out to the highest quality and professionalism, adhering to Fugro's Business Management System and project-specific documentation.
  • Supervise teams during night shifts, maintaining a high standard of communication and ensuring the safety of all personnel.

Requirements

  • At least one main technical discipline with knowledge and experience in other fields.
  • Competent and capable of piloting an ROV and using manipulators.
  • Experience working with different ROVs, subsea tooling, and LARS.
  • Background working on a variety of subsea operations and in different operational conditions.
  • Experience working as part of a team during mobilizations and demobilizations.
  • Safety awareness and a commitment to working to the highest safety standards.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all team members and work well under pressure.
