Job Description:

We are seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. The successful candidate will work with pupils who have difficulty thriving in mainstream secondary and special schools or are returning from out of County placements.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and young people in SEN settings and relevant experience working with children or people with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with pupils who require high levels of support, including one-to-one support and bespoke timetables
  • Design and deliver personalised learning experiences to engage students and promote academic progress
  • Collaborate with the team to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Current DBS on the update service or willingness to take one
  • Confidence working in small groups and one-to-one settings
  • Relevant experience working with children or people with special educational needs
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Minimum of Level 2 qualification or equivalent
