Role Overview

This role is a critical part of our team, responsible for managing customer risk analysts and a technical lead to provide a service for London and TV & HC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead a team of customer risk analysts and a technical lead to deliver excellent customer service in London and TV & HC.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement business strategies, targets, and KPIs to drive innovation and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Interrogate data to identify and develop solutions to complex problems affecting our customers.
  • Provide technical support to the wider business on Clean Water System risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain Water Quality compliance and ensure all network operations follow current Asset Management Procedures.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis and propose strategies to prevent future failures and non-compliance.
  • Mentor and develop the team and other Thames Water colleagues to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Stay up-to-date with business developments and provide ad-hoc reports and information requests to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will have relevant leadership experience, preferably within the utilities industry.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills are essential for engaging with diverse stakeholders across the business.
  • A growth mindset, analytical, problem-solving, and negotiating skills are crucial for success in this role.
  • Teamwork and the ability to work under pressure to meet demanding targets are essential characteristics.
  • A willingness to learn and develop professional knowledge, skills, and behaviors is vital.
  • A working knowledge of hydraulic systems, SCADA/telemetry devices, GIS mapping systems, SAP, and other corporate IT systems is desirable.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary up to £45,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
  • A generous holiday package, including 26 days per year, increasing to 30 with length of service, plus bank holidays.
  • A contributory pension scheme, with a maximum employee contribution of 2%.
