Job Description

Bridge Medical Centre is seeking an exceptional Primary Care Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our urgent care service, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our community.

About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual who can assess, diagnose, treat, refer or signpost patients presenting with minor illnesses. You will work closely with our GP Partners, nursing team, and administrative staff to provide comprehensive care and support to our patients.

Main Responsibilities
* Assess and manage patients with undifferentiated or undiagnosed conditions relating to minor illness
* Triage and treat patients, making necessary referrals to other members of the primary healthcare team
* Advise patients on general health care and minor ailments, referring to other members of the primary and secondary healthcare team as needed
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date healthcare records appropriate to the consultation

Requirements
* Excellent standard of written and verbal English
* Ability to assess, minimise and manage risks and defuse stressful situations, staying calm under pressure
* Competent use of IT systems, Excel, Word, and Outlook
* Experience of working in an urgent care/emergency setting and primary care environment
* Flexible attitude to work and a clean driving licence

Salary
We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
