Job Title: Payroll Manager
Northern Gas and Power is an international energy procurement specialist and the largest energy consultancy in Europe. We guide businesses of all sizes in purchasing their energy contracts.
The Payroll Manager will lead the Payroll department in all Payroll matters, overseeing the management of payroll for multiple subsidiaries across different countries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the efficient running of the Payroll Department on a day-to-day basis for 4 UK payrolls
- Coordinate the monthly Maltese payroll
- Manage the French payroll process
- Process new starters and leavers
- HMRC PAYE and attachment of earnings payments
- Pension submissions
- RTI submissions
- Annual P11Ds
- Manage year-end process including P60s, etc.
- Prioritise and organise the range of work that comes into the Payroll and Pension department
- Effectively manage and mentor a team
- Provide advice and guidance to the Senior Finance team in accordance with current legislation, rules and regulations
- Prioritise and manage tight deadlines
Requirements:
- Previous experience as Payroll Manager is essential
- Proven track record of preparing and processing a complex payroll for over 500 employees
- Full compliance and conversance in all legal and statutory payroll and pension matters
- Ability to focus on complex information while dealing with regular interruptions
- Discretion when dealing with sensitive data
- Good working knowledge of HMRC rules and regulations
Northern Gas and Power offers a competitive compensation package, including a negotiable base salary between £40,000 – £50,000 and a potential discretionary end of year bonus.
