Job Title: Student Attendance and Engagement Officer

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Student Attendance and Engagement Officer to join our team at Rapid Recruitment Services. The successful candidate will play a key role in monitoring and promoting excellent attendance across the academy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and escalate attendance issues to management.
  • Follow up promptly with students who are absent without notice.
  • Compile student data and issue warning letters/emails when necessary.
  • Update and maintain student files with personal information.
  • Identify patterns of absenteeism and collaborate with students and staff to address issues.
  • Communicate effectively with students regarding attendance and punctuality.
  • Implement strategies to improve overall attendance rates.
  • Prepare attendance reports for academy leadership and committees.
Requirements:
  • A formal qualification at least at Level 2 in English.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting is preferred.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using computer software, including Microsoft Office and attendance management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
