Overview

Job Summary

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires dedication, patience, and a passion for working with vulnerable individuals. As a Senior Support Worker, you will be responsible for developing and implementing personalized care plans, mentoring and guiding junior support workers, and fostering positive relationships with children, their families, and other professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs, incorporating the latest research and best practices in child care.
  • Mentor and guide junior support workers to ensure seamless delivery of services, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, their families, and other professionals through effective communication and collaboration, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People or Residential Child Care, demonstrating your understanding of the complexities of child care and your ability to apply theoretical knowledge in practice.
  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality care services, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Salary

We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
