IT Service Transition Manager

Position Overview: The IT Service Transition Manager is integral to the effective execution of IT initiatives within our organization, ensuring a seamless and secure transition. As part of a dedicated team, you will oversee Operational Readiness for diverse IT project rollouts under our Service Integration and Management (SIAM) framework, which is essential for meeting project goals and fostering the advancement of the Leonardo enterprise.

  • Partner with the project leader to initiate new project tasks and outline essential operational outcomes
  • Track the progress of critical operational outcomes throughout project milestones
  • Evaluate the operational preparedness of new project rollouts prior to their shift into Service Operations
  • Foresee and shape customer requirements for IT services
  • Supervise the deployment process for new IT Operations capabilities
  • Manage changes to the IT landscape to mitigate risks to business services
  • Communicate IT operational requirements effectively with colleagues
  • Remain updated on corporate IT advancements

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in IT Service Transition lifecycle phases and procedures
  • Thorough knowledge of service transition concepts, methodologies, and best practices, especially within the ITIL framework
  • Exhibited leadership in IT service transition efforts across both physical and cloud environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering superior service transitions
  • Ability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities efficiently
