Job Title: IT Service Transition Lead
Job Summary:
Leonardo is seeking an experienced IT Service Transition Lead to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a critical role in the successful delivery of IT projects into our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with project managers to initiate new project activity and define key operational deliverables.
- Ensure that key operational deliverables are developing in line with project maturity through project checkpoints.
- Assess operational readiness of new project implementations to ensure standards are achieved before they transition into Service Operations.
- Understand and anticipate customer demand for IT services.
- Manage the release process into operations for new IT Operations capability.
- Ensure change in the IT estate is managed to minimize risk and impact to business services.
- Ensure IT operational needs are communicated and understood by peers.
- Understand corporate direction on IT developments.
Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of service transition principles, methodologies, and best practices, with a strong understanding of the ITIL framework.
- Proven experience in leading IT service transition activities, in a physical and cloud environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and influence decision-making.
- Attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality service transition that meets business objectives and customer expectations.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
