Job Overview

This role is responsible for supporting the Transport team in ensuring delivery schedules are met. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring planned schedules, escalating any issues, and ensuring service levels are maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor planned schedules and escalate any issues to ensure service levels are maintained.
  • Use Transport Systems to allocate trailers and manage driver records.
  • Monitor working time directives and report on driving infringements.
  • Check arrival and departure times to ensure vehicles are setting out on time and meeting SLA's.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as updating driver records and training records.
Requirements
  • Experience in an Operator or Admin role, preferably in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage workload.
  • Confident in working with IT Systems, particularly data in Excel.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work with drivers and managers.
  • Knowledge of driver's hours and working time regulations is desirable but not essential.
