About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Assistant Shop Manager to join our team at Oak Furnitureland in Coventry. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, leading a team of sales advisors, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a high-performing sales team to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Recruit, train, and develop sales advisors to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Manage showroom operations, including visual merchandising, stock control, and health and safety.
  • Work closely with the store manager to achieve business objectives and support the overall success of the store.
  • Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of leading sales teams to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations.
  • Experience in managing showroom operations, including visual merchandising, stock control, and health and safety.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to develop and motivate sales advisors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

£24,710 to OTE of £37,000 per annum

This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days, with one weekend off every six.
