A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work with a renowned packaging supplier of corrugated packaging with a rich history spanning over 30 years. They have a forward-thinking approach to the industry and continue to expand their presence in the market, particularly in areas such as Ecommerce, 3PL Retail, FMCG, Industrial, Aerospace, Electronics, Healthcare, and Automotive industries.

This role will involve some office work, but with travel due to the nature of the position. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating new opportunities for the company to increase their clientele, as well as managing existing customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and win new business in the UK, with a budget target of £1.5 – £2 million pounds worth of business.
  • Work with a highly effective sales support team to maximise the service of the company.
  • Deal with new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, services prospection, negotiation, and commercial follow-up of UK customers and branching out further afield.
  • Manage time and diary effectively to achieve set KPI's.
  • Work with internal stakeholders on an international scale to ensure a smooth transition through the sales process.
  • Promote the company and its business.

Essential Requirements:

  • A good understanding of Microsoft Office Software.
  • Strong account management and new business skills.
  • Sound experience in a sales environment, ideally from the packaging, FMCG, distribution, or related industries.
  • Strong technical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience of closing and negotiation techniques.
  • Adaptable and flexible in managing workload.
