Job Title: Non-Destructive Testing Program Manager

We are seeking an experienced NDT Program Manager to join our team at AWE. As a key member of our central Condition Based Maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with industry standards and driving quality assurance in all asset integrity NDT operations.

Salary: £47,690 - £64,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Location: Reading / Basingstoke Area

This is a unique opportunity to advance your career in a dynamic industry. You will work closely with the Maintenance Authority to develop a database of assets that require NDT application, identify relevant failure modes, and employ appropriate NDT techniques.

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, be able to manage resourcing requirements, and coordinate 3rd party inspection activities. They will also maintain contact with external NDT industry, equipment suppliers, and consumables vendors.

About the Role:

  • Develop and lead an NDT capability within the Production and Assets business area
  • Manage an NDT program focused on asset integrity
  • Work as part of the central Condition Based Maintenance team delivering an effective Asset Condition Management program
  • Candidate must be willing and able to obtain and maintain necessary security clearance for the role
