Pastry Chef Role

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Chef to join our team at Host Staffing. This is a regular, part-time position, working Monday to Friday with additional evening events each week.

The ideal candidate will have experience in volume pastry preparation, canapés, bowl food, and plated dinners. They will be responsible for plating up and garnishing at functions, ensuring high-quality presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of pastry dishes, including canapés, bowl food, and plated dinners.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards.
  • Collaborate with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Relevant pastry chef experience, preferably at the Chef De Partie level.
  • Level 2 Food Safety Certificate and Allergen Training.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
