About the Role:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Workshop Engineer to join our team in Northampton. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading business in the industry and contribute to the success of our workshop team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing machinery and equipment, as well as troubleshooting and resolving issues that may arise. They will also be responsible for performing routine maintenance and inspections to ensure that all equipment is running efficiently and safely.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems. They will also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain, repair, and optimize machinery and equipment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machinery and equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections
Requirements:
  • A technical background from within Materials Handling or similar
  • Previous experience and qualifications from a similar role
  • Excellent mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems skills
