Job Description

Probe UK is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join its experienced Engineering team. This role offers a great opportunity for the right candidate to utilize their electrical skills in a privately owned global business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the upkeep of buildings and grounds areas of the plant facility, ensuring optimal working conditions and safety standards.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives and develop specific products to meet company needs.
Package Details
  • Salary: up to £48,000 per annum (including shift allowance), making it an attractive offer in the industry.
  • Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, with flexible shifts to cater to different needs.
  • Benefits:
    • 3% paid via salary sacrifice, saving tax and NI contributions, providing added financial security.
    • 20 days plus bank holidays, rising to 25 plus bank holidays after 5 years' service, offering a good work-life balance.
    • Death in service benefit – 2 x annual salary, providing peace of mind for family members.
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 or higher in Engineering Maintenance or equivalent, demonstrating a strong foundation in electrical maintenance.
  • Experience/further education in engineering, showcasing expertise in electrical systems and processes.
  • Experience of PLC systems for fault finding and minor programming modifications, highlighting proficiency in system troubleshooting.
  • Experience using and installing Variable Speed Drives VSD's within an FMCG environment, beneficial for adapting to changing production demands.
