Looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer in Northampton to maintain and repair plant machinery, with a focus on mechanical and electrical fault finding.

About the role: This is a full-time, permanent position with a clear structure for progression and development at Interaction - Northampton. The successful candidate will have opportunities to learn and grow with the organisation.

Key responsibilities: Attend to breakdowns on site machinery and conveyor systems, carry out planned and reactive maintenance in a timely manner, liaise with engineering management and colleagues to resolve breakdowns efficiently, follow health and safety procedures, and attend training and courses for further development.

Requirements: Minimum 3 years' experience as a maintenance engineer in a packaging or manufacturing industry, good balance of mechanical and electrical fault finding skills, apprentice-trained with a minimum NVQ level 3 qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering, previous experience repairing and fault finding on components such as motors, gearboxes, and conveyors, understanding of automated processes is advantageous, and full UK driving licence.

The package: Competitive salary between £42,000-£45,000 per annum dependent on experience, overtime available at 1.5 times the standard rate, 33 days holiday (including public holidays), employee discount scheme, committed to ongoing training and development, pension scheme, death in service x3, extensive private healthcare, and on-site parking.
