Credit Control Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our accounts receivable team as a Credit Control Senior. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing collections and recoveries of our debt portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Finance Department to ensure accurate totals and interest charges are applied.
- Evaluate and escalate relevant accounts to appropriate stakeholders as needed.
- Communicate with customers in a professional manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and minimizing reputational risk.
- Mitigate credit loss and preserve value by taking appropriate action on a case-by-case basis.
- Review and action credit reviews escalated by other parties.
- Monitor and evaluate the escalated credit reviews and review process.
- Review data provided by credit reports and check on all early warnings.
Requirements:
- Professional and confident manner with a good understanding of recoveries.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
- Ability to act on initiative while complying with company policies.
- Strong analytical, administrative, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confrontation while remaining assertive.
