About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Control Specialist to join our team at AXA XL. As a key member of our Credit Control Team, you will be responsible for delivering effective and robust credit control, ensuring the timely collection of receivables and maintaining strong relationships with commercial and underwriting partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate, progress, and resolve material cases impacting on overdue receivables and unallocated cash metrics.
  • Provide clear and concise commentary for monthly reporting packs and debt reviews.
  • Adhere to Credit Control service offering and procedures, selecting the applicable method of contact and escalation.
  • Assume responsibility for day-to-day operations between AXA XL designated brokers, including monthly reconciliations, query management, and escalation of material, overdue premiums.
  • Contribute to the presentation and delivery of effective underwriting reporting packs, evidencing actions performed and highlighting cases requiring U/W leverage.
  • Ensure competence across all accounting platforms and systems utilised by the Credit Control and AIS team, ensuring full compliance with FIC controls.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to providing high-quality service to customers and stakeholders.
  • Adaptable and flexible approach, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and report creation.
