Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Learning Disabilities Support Worker, supporting an individual with complex needs. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing daily support, encouraging the individual to participate in activities, and promoting their independence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing 1:2 support to enable the individual to engage in daily activities, such as walking and caring for pets.
  • Assisting with mobility, communication, and daily living tasks, ensuring the individual's dignity is maintained.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with the individual, their family, and other stakeholders.
  • Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A warm and welcoming approach, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work flexibly, including weekends and sleep-ins.
  • Basic IT skills, including email and online platforms.
  • A DBS check and UK driving license (no vehicle required).
