Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Female Recovery Support Worker to join our team in Gateshead.

This role offers unique opportunities to make a positive difference to the lives of others, working with individuals who have complex and often chaotic lives. You will be part of an outcome-focused floating support team that provides a time-limited support service from an office in Gateshead.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to service users in accordance with their holistic support plans
  • Manage a caseload and work with service users who require longer-term support to stabilise their lives
  • Support service users in developing necessary skills and confidence for finding and managing a tenancy
  • Promote inclusion, independence, and wellbeing through various interventions and strategies

Requirements:

  • Experience in working with people who have mental health support needs
  • Ability to manage a caseload and provide direct support to service users
  • Knowledge of local community resources and services
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
