We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Female Recovery Support Worker to join our team in Gateshead.
This role offers unique opportunities to make a positive difference to the lives of others, working with individuals who have complex and often chaotic lives. You will be part of an outcome-focused floating support team that provides a time-limited support service from an office in Gateshead.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to service users in accordance with their holistic support plans
- Manage a caseload and work with service users who require longer-term support to stabilise their lives
- Support service users in developing necessary skills and confidence for finding and managing a tenancy
- Promote inclusion, independence, and wellbeing through various interventions and strategies
Requirements:
- Experience in working with people who have mental health support needs
- Ability to manage a caseload and provide direct support to service users
- Knowledge of local community resources and services
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary of £22,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience
