Job Description

Cardiff Union Services Ltd is seeking a highly motivated Economic Insight Specialist to support our research activities. The successful candidate will have a strong background in economics and data analysis, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.

The role involves supporting the generation and dissemination of evidence on productivity through various means, including literature reviews, data analysis, and report writing.

This position offers a unique opportunity for individuals to work with an experienced research team and learn about disseminating and applying research to policy and business practice.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting the research team in generating and disseminating evidence on productivity
  • Conducting literature reviews, data analysis, and report writing
  • Disseminating research findings to external stakeholders and the central research team
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A MSc degree in economics or a closely related discipline
  • An ability to work independently and responsibly on specified tasks
  • A commitment to working as part of a team and with external stakeholders
  • Good research skills, including data analysis
  • Knowledge of the Welsh Economy and relevant data
