Mental Health Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team at Allied & Clinical Healthcare Recruitment. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality nursing care and support to individuals with mental health conditions in a hospital or clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patient mental health status, including risk assessments and care planning.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by psychiatrists or healthcare providers.
- Monitor and evaluate patient response to treatment and interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement holistic care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
Requirements:
- Valid registration as a Mental Health Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Bachelor's degree in Mental Health Nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience working as an RMN in a psychiatric or mental health setting is preferred.
- Must have 6 months paid work experience.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with patients and colleagues.
