About the Role

Pertemps Bond is seeking a highly experienced Strategic Director of Education Technology and Admissions to lead our client, a leading organisation in the education sector. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated leader to drive real change and make a significant impact on student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate the MIS, Timetabling, and Admissions teams to achieve ambitious goals and drive innovation.
  • Ensure accurate, secure, and timely data processing for the college, including student data, attendance, and curriculum information.
  • Oversee the production of annual timetables, working closely with key stakeholders to ensure maximum resource efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Executive for Business Intelligence, Growth & Skills to embed a culture of well-being, engagement, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage the admissions process to optimise student recruitment, ensuring timely and efficient handling of applications.
  • Use data-driven insights to improve performance, drive decision-making, and develop outstanding reporting systems.
  • Lead the development of MI Systems to enhance functionality and improve efficiencies across the institution.
  • Ensure compliance with funding rules and maintain the highest standards of audit and data quality.
Requirements
  • In-depth knowledge of the FE sector and its funding structures.
  • Proven experience managing MIS and timetabling systems within a large, complex organisation.
  • A track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Expertise in SQL and knowledge of Pro Suite (ProSolution, ProMonitor, ProPortal) or similar systems.
  • Strong understanding of data reporting, analytics, and innovative use of automation.
  • Experience driving performance through data management and strategic planning.
What We Offer

This is a full-time, office-based role in Plymouth, UK, starting on an interim basis for 3 months, with the potential for extension. The position offers a competitive salary of £49,000, reflecting the seniority and complexity of the role.
