We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Manager to join our High Performing UK Sales Team. Our Sales team orchestrate high value, highly technical sales processes, and as such the person joining this team will have the opportunity to learn, grow, develop, and work with Customers across Academia and Industry.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage the sales process for our AFM Products, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions to our customers.
  2. Responsibility for all market-relevant activities, including market research, competitor analysis and sales strategy development.
  3. Proactive identification of leads, creation of and follow-up on opportunities, and maintaining up-to-date journal and CRM data.
  4. Competent customer-facing consultation and quotation generation, as well as assistance and guidance in the customer journey during the procurement process.
  5. Profit-oriented price setting and negotiation, and timely preparation and submission of correct and suitable tendering documents in public purchasing procedures.

About You

  1. A Science degree or higher and/or equivalent relevant experience.
  2. A strong understanding of Atomic Force Microscopy and its applications.
  3. Excellent commercial awareness and customer focus, with the ability to adjust behaviours and selling strategies based on cultural requirements.

Selection Process
