">About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned nurse to lead and support our senior and junior teams in delivering high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department. As a Junior Sister/Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring that patients receive seamless and efficient care throughout their stay with us.

You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans, ensuring that patients' needs are met promptly and safely. Your clinical expertise and experience in the Emergency Department will enable you to provide guidance and support to junior staff members, helping them to develop their skills and confidence.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering excellent patient care, has strong communication skills, and can lead by example. If you have a background in nursing and are eager to take on a challenging and rewarding role, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the senior and junior teams in delivering high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement effective care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff members to help them develop their skills and confidence
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and share best practices within the department

Requirements:

  • 1st level Registered General Nurse qualification
  • Further professional studies relevant to the clinical area
  • Mentorship programme or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Demonstrable clinical expertise relevant to the area
  • Able to contribute to the development of students, nurses, and oneself
  • Communication skills – able to relate and communicate with patients and staff at all levels
  • Team building and working skills – able to lead a team to achieve results

Salary and Benefits:

£44,806 - £53,134 Per Annum Including High Cost Area. This competitive salary reflects the importance of this role and the value we place on our employees' hard work and dedication.
