Job Title: Catering Support Professional

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Catering Support Professional. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide healthy and nutritious food to our young people, taking pride in ensuring a high standard of food preparation and service is delivered and maintained.

The ideal candidate will have experience in catering, with a strong focus on food safety and hygiene. On-the-job training will be provided, along with compulsory off-job training. A full clean driving license is essential, as you will be required to work at different units as the service requires.

Duties:

  • Preparation of food
  • Basic cooking
  • Food service
  • Kitchen hygiene and health and safety
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation

Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years' experience in catering is required. You must also be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children.

  • An estimated salary of £22,500 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.
