About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Receptionist to join our team at Nuffield Health Tunbridge Wells Hospital. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a warm and welcoming experience for patients and visitors, ensuring they feel at ease and supported throughout their visit.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to enquiries, and book appointments in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Prepare clinical paperwork, referral forms, and charge sheets, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Direct patients to the appropriate changing or waiting rooms, ensuring a smooth and seamless experience.
  • Work collaboratively with the department team to ensure the smooth running of the hospital.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with patients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Basic computer skills, including Word and Excel, with the ability to learn new systems and software.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Experience working in a healthcare administration or reception environment, with a strong understanding of clinical procedures and protocols.
