Job Title: Supported Housing Services Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supported Housing Services Manager to join our team at Gloucester City Homes. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to ensure effective service delivery, performance, and future development of our Specialist Housing Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective leadership of our Supported housing function, including temporary homeless, specialist supported, and young person supported housing schemes.
  • Lead on Safeguarding, Domestic Abuse, and Hate Crime initiatives.
  • Foster and maintain key strategic partnerships to develop robust policy and operational practices.
  • Develop and implement service improvement plans using customer insight data.
  • Ensure the provision of joined-up and tailored housing-related support to customers with vulnerabilities and complex needs.
  • Accountable for delivering effective and efficient services, including Voids & Lettings, ASB, Income Collection, Health and Safety actions, and satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
  • Demonstrable understanding of delivering statutory/non-statutory homeless and specialist housing services.
  • Experience of working with complex and chaotic lifestyles cohorts.
  • Good understanding of the Social Housing Sector and delivery of core homeless services.
  • Ability to understand data and insight to develop service improvement plans.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus.
  • Housing-related qualification or willingness to obtain one in the near future.
