Job Title: Production Efficiency Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Efficiency Engineer to join our client's team in their high-speed manufacturing environment. As a key member of the production team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and processes.

Job Summary

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced engineer to take on a new challenge and make a real impact in the FMCG industry. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving the efficiency of equipment, working closely with the production team to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to drive productivity and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain and improve the efficiency of equipment
  2. Perform regular equipment checks and preventative maintenance
  3. Identify and diagnose equipment faults, implementing immediate fixes where possible
  4. Work collaboratively with the production team to ensure smooth operation
  5. Develop and implement plans to improve equipment efficiency and reduce downtime
  6. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
  7. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department
  8. Provide technical support to other departments as required

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognised Engineering qualification (Mechanical, Electrical or Multi-Skilled Engineering)
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
