Worcester, Worcestershire, United Kingdom Stirling Warrington Full time
Job Title: Production Engineer

The role of a Production Engineer at Stirling Warrington involves working as part of a close-knit team to maintain and repair special purpose plant machinery. With a strong focus on days-only work, this position is ideal for engineers looking to get off shift and enjoy a better work-life balance.

A key aspect of the job is performing regular maintenance tasks, including changing bearings, straps, and belts. Additionally, you will be required to work one in three Saturdays, with an additional day off during the week to compensate. This provides a great opportunity to achieve a healthy work-life balance while contributing to the success of the company.

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Specialist who has at least three years of experience in repairing and maintaining special purpose plant machinery. Ideally, you should hold a Level 2 or 3 qualification and possess strong mechanical skills. Your electrical competence will also be beneficial, as you will be working with various types of equipment. While PLC experience is not necessary, having knowledge in this area can be advantageous.

In addition to your technical skills, you should have excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, allowing you to effectively collaborate with colleagues and troubleshoot any issues that arise. You will also be expected to maintain accurate records and adhere to all health and safety protocols.

We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 per annum, along with a range of benefits, including 33 days' holiday, a canteen, and discounts on company products. If you are a motivated and experienced Maintenance Specialist looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
